Who we are

Sniff-it, part of HappyPetSpace.

What we collect

Your name, email, handle, country, and your photo if you add one. If you add a pet: their name, species, breed, age, sex, and photos.

Why

To create your profile now, so it is ready and waiting when Sniff-it opens — instead of an empty app in September.

What becomes public, and what doesn't

Your pet's page and photos become visible to anyone on the internet when Sniff-it opens in September 2026, and can be found by search engines. You choose this when you add them, and you can change it any time.

You do not. Your name, email and photo are never published, never indexed, and never shown to people you have not connected with. A person is not a public page on Sniff-it.

Nothing is public before September

We create the pages now and they stay dark until the app opens.

The basis is your consent, and you can take it back

Three ways out, depending on where you are:

• —Before you confirm: ignore the email. Nothing is created, and we delete what you typed.
• —After you confirm: write to support@sniff-it.app and we delete your profile, your pet and your photos.
• —Once the app is open: delete it yourself, from the app, in a few taps.

How long we keep it

Until you sign in and claim your profile. If you never do, we delete it 12 months after you confirmed — we will write to you before that happens.

What we send you

Two emails: one to confirm this, and one when Sniff-it opens. No marketing.

Where your data sits

In the EU — our database, files and email all run in Frankfurt.
